Dr. sc. nat., Dipl.-Ing. Jens Loebus
CEO
Jens received his diploma in bio- and chemical-engineering from the University of Erlangen, in collaboration with the ETH Zurich. Enlarging his theoretical and practical background, he conducted extensive research stays in biological, physiochemical and life science laboratories in the UK and France before he carried out his PhD thesis in bioinorganic chemistry at the University of Zurich. Jens being both trained as an engineer and scientist understands the practical requirements of scientific equipment in the lab. Due to his experience he can translate these requirements into simple, practical and helpful devices for everyday use in the laboratory.
Dipl.-Ing. Frank Arntjen M. Sc.
CEO & Chief Engineer
Frank is a trained mechanical engineer with expertise in composite material manufacturing and application. Frank owns an engineering company, where he, along with his team designs, plans, develops and manufactures a variety of industrial devices ranging from automatic wood saws to airplane turbines (www.ib-arntjen.de). Due to his extensive experience in project management he provides a perfectly suited network of contractors and collaborators into the DOSTAL GmbH.

Dr.–Ing. Dipl.-Ing. MBA Axel Loebus
Sales and Marketing
Dr. Loebus received his diploma in materials science from the University Jena and his PhD in engineering from the Technische Universität Berlin, Germany. Axel coordinates internal processes for DOSTAL and advices and evaluates material selection of the devices, such as the DOSTAL DOSY, in order to provide our customers with the best possible solutions for their research projects.
Prof. Dr.–Ing. Ina Loebus
Logistics and Industrial Engineering
Prof. Loebus holds a Professorship in Industrial Engineering at the University Hof, Germany. Having worked for Carl Zeiss, Prof. Loebus possesses substantial expertise in industrial processes, such as manufacturing of precision devices for research laboratories. Prof. Loebus advises and supervises various industrial projects including all major German car manufacturers as well as many medium size companies. For DOSTAL she supervises production processes and draws on her professional network to augment innovation of DOSTAL Gmbh´s product series.
Dr. rer. nat. Dirk Dobritzsch
Fluid Handling, Chromatography, MS, ICP-MS
Dr. Dobritzsch holds a permanent position in Plant-biochemistry and analytic chemistry at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. Dr. Dobritzsch is an experienced chromatographer and MS and ICP-MS spectroscopist with a strong sense for practical solutions and applications. Dr. Dobritzsch supports DOSTAL by evaluating liquid handling processes and solutions that ultimately create simple, versatile and practical handling of the DOSTAL product line.

Dipl.-Inform. Daniel Jelkmann
Software, Mechatronics
Daniel Jelkmann has studied informatics with special interest in embedded systems and micro robotics. After three years of working experience as an associate researcher at an cooperating institute of the Carl Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, he founded his own engineering company in 2009 (www.Jelkmann.com). Daniel offers development services in electronics and embedded systems. His services range from circuit diagrams and layout series of blanks to the setup and testing of prototypes and small series as well as the programming of micro controls and respective software.
Dr. Konstantin Zobel
Agency, Graphic Design, Web
Since 2000 Dr. Zobel is owner and CEO of the advertising agency DesignRing with offices in Halle (Saale) und Leipzig, Germany. For DOSTAL the team of DesignRing developed and designed the Corporate Identity, which was put into practice by DesignRing in virtually all print and web materials. This includes amongst other the layout of the logo, the website, flyers and business cards.
Carsten Hortig
Tax Consultant, Tax Attorney
Carsten completed an apprenticeship as industrial clerk and studied tax and business law at the Hochschule Bremen, Bremen, Germany. At the same time, Carsten worked for the financial administration of the city of Bremen as well as for a tax consultant company. Following an exchange semester in London, UK, Carsten graduated as tax attorney (Dipl. -Steuerjurist (FH)) and took a position at KPMG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft AG in Hamburg, Germany, mainly working in the field of company taxation. Since 2011 Carsten holds a federal degree as tax consultant. Since 2013 Carsten is co-partner in the tax advisers office Hortig & Partner.
Sabine Fuhrmann
Attorney-at-law
Sabine Fuhrmann advises on the foundation, expansion and sale of businesses. Her main specialisations are commercial and corporate law, corporate finance and labour law. A founding partner, she launched the law firm Spirit Legal LLP together with Peter Hense in 2011. Sabine Fuhrmann is at home with conventional corporate law: Business owners trust her advice on issues concerning compliance and liability avoidance in management. Before founding the partnership she headed the legal department at an IT company, and has also worked for a number of national and international law firms in Leipzig, Berlin and London. Sabine Fuhrmann does business responsibly, and as chairwoman of the non-profit association Startup Club Leipzig e. V. she helps to create a professional environment for business start-ups.
